Tokyo Gov. Yuriko Koike claimed Wednesday the Japanese funding should host the postponed Summer Olympics “by all means” following year by taking extensive steps versus the unique coronavirus pandemic.
“Athletes are going through much hardship due to the one year delay given that their physical condition and motivation was targeted at this summer,” Koike claimed in a talk, arranged by Kyodo News for its clients, provided online from the cosmopolitan federal government. “We have to go forward with the games next summer by all means.”
